Paulina Palomino Pantoja

Biography

Paulina Palomino Pantoja, is a LMSW and has practiced in the social work field for 10 years but has worked in the health care field for 14 years. She is a proud Alumni! She has received both Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from NMSU. Go AGGIES! She has experience working with children, adults, and families facing many different hardships and obstacles in different settings such as child protective services, school systems, out-patient clinics, and on a Native American reservation. She has worked in New Mexico and Arizona allowing her to have contact with diverse populations as well as differing laws and social service systems. Ms. Palomino Pantoja wanted to be a teacher when growing up but found passion in social work and most recently NMSU has provided her with the opportunity to do both. Although she still has a long journey ahead in the field of Social Work, she looks forward to working together in the School of Social Work program with hopes her studends will learn from her as she will learn from them.
