Erica Tontodonati holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with minors in Finance and Marketing from New Mexico State University (NMSU). She is certified in Departmental Research Administration and Fiscal Compliance by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). With nearly a decade of experience in program management, grants administration, and operational leadership, Erica plays a pivotal role in the Child Welfare Scholar Program at New Mexico State University as the Program Manager for the Title IV-E Curriculum Grant. In this capacity, Erica oversees the administrative and fiscal operations of the program, ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal policies. Her responsibilities include financial management, grants and contracts administration, and program development.
Previously, Erica excelled as a Program Coordinator, managing multiple grant-funded initiatives for NMSU’s Crimson Research in the Public Health Sciences Department, focusing on improving program effectiveness through strategic analysis and innovative solutions.
Ms. Tontodonati is also skilled in developing and implementing successful marketing and communication strategies, engaging stakeholders, and fostering collaboration among students, partners, and grantors. She is dedicated to advancing the mission of the Child Welfare Scholar Program.
