Caroline Klocksiem is a Title IV-E Child Welfare Scholar Program graduate assistant. She holds a BA in Humanities from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an MFA in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. After decades of teaching college-level English, she is now pursuing her MSW, intending to work as a clinician to serve and empower children, young adults, and historically marginalized people. Her areas of interest include intersectionality, art-assisted trauma work, family systems and intergenerational trauma, and neurodiversity-affirming and identity-affirming approaches to care.
