Licensing Preparation Program

Licensing Preparation Program

Program Overview

The Licensing Preparation Program, hosted by the Child Welfare Scholar Program, is available to all social workers preparing for the BSW, MSW, or LCSW examinations. This program is designed to help participants grasp exam dynamics, develop effective strategies for selecting the best answers, and ultimately improve their success rates. Through comprehensive seminars, participants will learn time-tested multiple-choice exam-taking strategies, tactics, and techniques. The program also provides an organized and detailed content review to enhance participants’ chances of passing the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Examination.

2-Day Seminars

Our 2-Day Licensing Exam Preparation Seminars offer intensive training on multiple-choice exam-taking strategies and techniques. Participants will engage with practice exams that mirror the structure of the national exam. Facilitators will guide participants in understanding exam dynamics and demonstrate how to use strategies to select the most appropriate answers effectively. This experience includes:

  • Presentation and Lecture: Designed to teach participants methods for breaking down and selecting the most appropriate options, these sessions cover exam preparation strategies, an overview of the exam-taking process, and essential social work content and skill requirements.
  • Exam Simulation: Participants will take a practice exam designed to reflect the national exam's format and structure. Facilitators will analyze results to provide personalized content assessments.
  • Content Review: During the Dissemination of Content Assessment Results Sessions, Facilitators will highlight critical areas for review and provide individualized content assessments.
