Why Join BSSWA?
BSSWA offers students a unique opportunity to become actively involved in community service while building relationships with peers, faculty, and professionals in the field. It’s a place to learn, grow, and begin developing a social work identity grounded in service and ethical practice.
We volunteer regularly in the community. For example, past members have spent time at El Caldito Soup Kitchen, a Community of Hope agency serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, and hosted hygiene drives . We also participate in various campus and community outreach initiatives.
Whether you're looking to make a difference or simply want to connect with fellow students who share your passion for social work, BSSWA is here to support your journey.
