Training Information
Participants: Required participants include placement workers, placement supervisors (including Sup 2s), placement specialists, adoption consultants, and PPW supervisors. It is recommended that COMs and Regional Managers also plan to attend.
Topics: Topics include background on adoption assistance, relationship between and changes in IV-E eligibility determinations for adoption assistance (including Fostering Connections), negotiating adoption assistance, the adoption assistance process (including the packet and documentation), third casing, SSI/SSA post-decree and spend down funds, termination of adoption assistance and more.
The training is 6 hours long (plus a one hour lunch break) and will provide CEUs
