Stipend Information
This year stipends will be awarded as follows:
For families who live 0-50 map miles from Albuquerque, $50
For families who live 51-150 map miles from Albuquerque, $150
For families who live 151-250 map miles from Albuquerque, $250
For families who live 251+ map miles from Albuquerque, $300
All families requesting a stipend must fill out a W9 form. You can find that form here. This form can be filled in electronically and then printed or if you choose you may print the form and fill it in neatly by hand. Please send the form in with your deposit check. All forms must be received by August 19th, 2011 or you will not be eligible for a stipend until after the conference. Stipends will not be handed out on site. They will be mailed to you within 10 days of the conference. Please be prepared financially as you will be responsible for your hotel room costs at the time of the conference. The address you put on your W9 form will be the address your stipend check is mailed to.
Deposit Checks
You are still required to submit a $50 deposit check made out to NMSU. Your registration will not be finalized until we receive the check. These checks will be returned to you at the conference and will only be cashed if you do not show up or if you do not give us ample notice before the conference that you will not be in attendance. We require deposit checks because space is limited. If you have any questions regarding the reservation deposit, please email Shawn Rogers or call him at 575-646-4855.
Childcare Information
Limited child care will be offered for foster children residing outside of Valencia, Sandoval, Bernalillo and Torrance counties for those which respite care could not be coordinated. Children ages 3-5 will be on site with PB&J Daycare. Children ages 6-18 will go on educational field trips with the Boys and Girls Club. Child care is only available to foster children. If you have other children in your home please make alternate arrangements for them. Limited space is available and is on a first come first serve basis. If you will be requesting child care for children ages 3-5 you will need to print and fill out this paperwork. If you will be requesting child care for children ages 6-18 you will need to print and fill out this and this. Please mail this paperwork in with your deposit check and stipend paperwork.
