Southwest Institute for Family & Child Advocacy
The Southwest Institute for Family & Child Advocacy is housed in New Mexico State University’s School of Social Work. In partnership with New Mexico’s Children Youth and Families Department (CYFD) this project is funded through the Title IV-E Child Welfare Training Program of the Social Security Act and other funding sources.
The mission of our project is to promote the safety, permanence, stability, and well-being of children, youth and families in their communities through the development, implementation and evaluation of trainings, workshops, and conferences for Child Welfare Professionals and Resource Families throughout the State of New Mexico.
